I want to welcome you to my site and thank all of you for your devotion to the Lord and pray that you will be blessed by this site and that this site will be used of God to help you grow in the Lord. May you learn of His grace and be enriched by all that you see here and may the Lord enable you to receive of His blessing, I Pastor Word of Grace Fellowship which meets in Springfield NJ at a local YMCA. I emphasize the grace of God on this and my other sites and pray that those that come to this site will be able to receive of this blessing and be able to walk in the joy of the Lord and experience His presence daily in their life! I want to promote unity within His body and be able to share His love to all. May God receive Glory through this site and may His grace be shared throughout the world

- Tell me what does Easter mean to you? Is it a time to honor the resurrection or is a time to debate the origin of the term Easter and debate? I love the Lord and focus on His resurrection and what He gave to me- what about you?
- Faith’s Confidence Intro: Do you know that God will take care of you? Are you sure that God is more then able to take care of you? Do you pray believing that God will be there when it seems like you are going under? This is the reason we have faith, so that we can trust God. God came to live inside of us but that is not enough he wants us to RELY on Him. In the OT they did rely on Him but He did not live in them. He lives in us and we need to trust Him no matter what. I looked up the word trust and it is not listed in the book of Revelation. When things get hard it is hard to trust God. The #1 place it is used is the Psalms. Trust God! Restored Mk 3:5 Joel 2:25- you were restored to be brand new for God loves you and wants to make you brand new! He wants you to be just as you were before the fall. He does not want the curse to operate in your life. He loves you and does not do evil to you. He is not mad at you! God is for you! Rom 8:31 1 Th 5:9 So many think that God is against them so when they go to God they go with an attitude that is influenced by either the tradition of men, or the fears that are in their life. They rather go to medicine and doctors first and believe the word of the doctors over the creator. Jesus healed on the Sabbath Day and the Pharisees called this work. Jesus said stretch forth your hand. Will you heal someone because God puts them in your path. God is for you. God wanted to heal and the man wanted to receive but he was intimidated by the leaders of his day. Jesus shut them up with one word and then the man could get it. It says the mans hand was restored. God wants to restore you.. God did not just heal him and stop the growth but restored him and gave him a new arm. God wants to make you brand new. God wants to give to you of what He has. God is the restorer but it is hard for men to believe for a miracle for we have so many excuses as to why God won’t instead of believing simply that HE wants to and is able. Go to God in simple child like faith and receive! Joel says I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten. God states his will and wants to restore you what the devil took from you. I will do it - will you accept it or grumble about what you do not have and complain why me Lord. O Lord you will restore to me what Satan took and I will not let the curse come to this house. In Egypt they had to put the blood on the doorposts to prevent the death angel from coming to their house so the firstborn would not die. The death angel would then pass over their house. God says the victory is ours and He always causes us to triumph 2 Cor 2:14. We are the winners and we will triumph when it looks bad. I had a Pastor who said that there is no 9 inning ball games with God, if we losing after the 9th inning we turn to Daddy the umpire and say play on and we play to we win. We cannot lose. We will win for Jesus is on our side and we have that Name which is above every name. Phil 2:5-12 Ps 23 He restoreth my soul. He restores me! I can go on because inside I have that assurance that God will keep me. We just need that word of encouragement sometimes and we can go on for God is for us. God will keep us. We need to see that God is doing something and then we can go on. God is not mad at you. He will restore you for you are His child so rejoice in Him Phil 4:4 Ear to hear Rev 2-3 ( 7 churches) There are 7 churches that are listed in the book of Revelation and to each one he says to him who has the ear to hear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. HE says something different to each church. So many think that it is one message to each church. We all have a different message for we all have something that God put in our heart. To one it is faith, another grace, or love for we all have a different focus and we do not need to discredit people the way so many do. We need to let the love of God prevail and not to focus on faults and failures and to help people become free from the law. The law binds people and puts people into bondage. Look at the messages that Jesus gave each church and you will find that He commends most of them and to one he finds no fault to another he finds nothing to commend them about. God wants to find something to say God about you. God wants to praise you so let God praise you. One day God will say thank you! God loves you so much that One day God will praise you! IF anyone is not worthy to be praised from God it is me and you. We are built to praise God and to receive praise from God is quite a contradiction! God will praise you ! Wow! God loves you so walk in this love. Look at these churches - he that has an ear I will and list a reward. God is a rewarder! Last week we said that to have faith you must believe that God is and that HE is a rewarder. These 7 churches are all going to be rewarded by God! God is rewarding them because he worked through them. Imagine if I came to your house and taught you how to play scrabble better and then paid you for doing so. Does that make sense that the one who did the work should be the rewarder to the one who received the work? The one who received the work should reward the doer of the work. The plumber does not pay you for letting you fix your pipes? God rewards you even though HE does the work in you and for you and through you! God loves you and will bless you because you are His child and he wants you to share that blessing with others. God is for you! So many read this and say it is about 7 ages of the Christian church. This is 7 churches that Jesus spoke to in the early church. It is 7 different churches and they each dealt with different problems then. If you look closely you will find that these rewards are not just for them but for all Christians. 1) You will eat of the tree of life 2) You have overcome and will not be hurt of the 2nd death 3) you will eat of the hidden of the hidden manna, and a new name 4) you will rule with Christ, having power over the nations 5) you will be clothed in white raiment and Jesus will confess your name before the Father 6) God’s name will be written on you and you will be a temple in the temple of God 7) you will sit with Christ in his throne. All these promises are also given to the church. God is the rewarder because of what Christ did for you not because you did such a great work for Him. It is his works in you Isa 26:12 Love 1 Jn 4:16 1Cor 13:13 - God is love and that is so important to understand for we need to focus on being loving to see our faith work. If you will read the gospels you will find that Jesus although this verse says He is love did not always agree with people. Our concept of love is to be able to get along with people all the time. It means we will do we can to people pleasers. Jesus did not try to come to please people for pleasing people is not the same as pleasing God. You want to be concerned about what God thinks and that is not always what man thinks. Men say you must do certain things to please God, but God says you must believe. The work of God is to believe the one that Sent Jn 6:29-30. The work of God according to men is in your doing, but God says it is in your being. God dwells in you not because you are so wonderful and great, but because of His love. I did this and healed this person. I am holy - look at my morality. I am righteous for I am a good person. No! You are these things because God is in you- not because of your great life and works. The next verse says that as HE is so are YOU in THIS WORLD. Now He is in you. You are as HE is. It does not say once you get to Heaven but now in this world. You are holy now because of who He is in you. He is in you because of His love and as He is so are you now in this world. The reason is God’s love. God loves you. God thinks so highly of you simply because He loves you. So do not talk down about yourself and love yourself for God does. 1 Cor 13:13- now this is called the love chapter and it ends with saying that love is greater then faith. We know that faith works by love Gal 5:6 so that tells us that love is greater and that there is a connection with faith and love. You need love to work in your life for your faith to work. Jesus may have seemed to be harsh to the religious leaders but He loved the people he was ministering to. Love is not always nice, for in love there is sometimes judgment. A parent loves a child but also spanks a child if they misbehave. Love can be tough at times. Love is what you need to manifest God to others. Love causes people to respond favorably to you. Faith manifests what Love - the love of God provided for you at Calvary, and the love of God in you causes His faith to come out when problems arise. So let God love others through you and let His power flow though you. Love moves you to release faith to help people, and it enables you to get in touch with the Spirit of God that is in you. Youth Isa 40:31 Ps 103:1-5- One of the benefits of faith is that it will renew your youth like the eagles. You will feel young even when you are old. The book of Isaiah is called a miniature of the Bible for it is divided into 2 sections and the first section is 39 chapters parallel to the OT which is 39 books. Isaiah could not have known this for the Gentile version is 39 books and I say the Gentile version for the Jewish version has all the minor prophets as 1 book and combines several others. I think their version is 24 books. The NT was not written in Isaiah’s time and it is 27 books. Isaiah wrote 66 chapters and the Bible was not divided into chapters into the Middle Ages. Ch 40 begins the 2nd half the portion of Isaiah that deals primarily with the work of Jesus. It says that you will walk and not faint but the youth will run and be weary. God never faints or grows weary for He is the Creator of the Earth and He never does tire. Focus on Jesus and you will not tire out. Let the Lord give you His strength and you will have plenty of energy. It is his power that strengthens you and his power that causes you to not faint. He is the one who deserves glory. Ps 103- lists all the benefits of the Lord. I will bless His name. In the name of Jesus He forgives my iniquities and heals my body. He redeems my life. He keeps me from falling. He will cause me to be blessed so the devil will not be able to steal from me Kill me or destroy me. He gives me loving kindness and mercy. This whole chapter is what we have because of the blessing of the name. God renews your strength and gives you to youth. Youth is not the idea of not having growing old but youth is the strength even when you are. A good example of this is Josh 14:6-15. Caleb was 85 years old and he went to conquer giants and took a mountain full of them because God promised it to him through Moses. At 85 he conquered a mountain of giants. God renews your youth by His word. This is the benefit of God for God gives you the word and in that word is strength and that is what renews your spirit and youth. God’s word is enough and it will keep you. The name is above all names and there is no other name given among heaven whereby you must be saved. IT is the name above all names. That is the name that strengthens you and makes you brand new, renewing your youth. God’s Word strengthened Caleb even though it came through a man named Moses it gave him strength. Too often we discount a word from God because it was not an audible voice. The word of God through his servant is just as powerful as God’s audible word. Let God renew you today!
